I'm not 100% happy with this photo I'll admit. I think that it's fairly obvious that there was " something there" that was worth photographing... but I don't think I pulled it off. The angles aren't right, or maybe the framing... but even now, I'm not sure what would have been the "right" way to shoot it.
As an idea, what about getting down low on that handrail in the foreground - it would create a really interesting lead-line as it zig-zags into the image. I also think the building on the left is distracting... the tower is interesting and wooden and really fits in with the deck and the natural landscape; the building is brick and boring and doesn't fit in. A low-ish view on the handrail that excludes the building might work really well...
Just a thought!
